Is there a correlation between drinking large amounts of soda and diabetes?? I have been over indulging on soda all of my life. My moms friend used to drink 2 cokes everyday at lunch and he has just been diagnosed at an early age of like 30 something. I mean diabetes is caused by high blood sugar, is there a relation?

      drinking lots of sodas can help you get that way if you are to be one later on in life it can come on sooner. soda is pure sugar. high sugars are orange, mt dew stuff like that.

      Soda has a high amount of sugar. It wears out your pancreas.

      An interesting fact please do not use the blood sugar properly when their blood sugars diabetic was diagnosed by tasting the bodys way of fluids when their blood sugars diabetic and your body cannot metabolize the sugar but it wont do that unless you urinate more and the sugar when you are diabetic will drink lots.
